November 2025: Sit Lo, Adelaide City CBD
Apr. 10th, 2026 02:20 pmI decided to have lunch here after a trip to the city. Sit Lo at their [Google Map link] Waymouth Street location as it was the closest option for where I was.
It's fairly small, being on the ground floor of the building that houses the ATO, the Bureau of Statistics and other government offices, and there are other eateries adjacent to it. But I felt like Vietnamese food, and I was lucky to avoid the lunch rush. I got the noodle and salad bowl, being rice vermicelli noodles with mesclun salad mix and panko fried chicken which came with a chilli mayo. There was also the dressing, which had a nice chilli kick to it.
The serving sizes were very generous, a gentleman seated at a table adjacent to me had the kway teow and that looked to me like a mountain of food. I know I would have been unable to eat it all in one setting! Prices are very reasonable and service is very good and efficient. For anyone in this part of the city, I highly recommend Sit Lo; I haven't eaten at their Bank Street or UNI SA City West Campus locations, but if those are anything as good as the Waymouth St one, I recommend them.
